I asked, "Are you sure, Massah-in-law?"
She said "YES - Real Men wear purple neckties."
So I said "Okay - I'm all ready!"
I knew it was going to be a crazy time... I had to limber myself up for the dancing (I was stretching my ear here)!
Somehow or other we ended up changing clothes during the party... I'm not sure what that was about. But I think the blue stripes really bring out the pink tone of my skin almost as well as the purple polka-dotted neck tie.

Mean Sister Fig and I were drinking lemonade in those cans (we don't drink at our house). I sure can't vouch for anyone else though....

First, I LOVED the purple tie. I think you gave it to some honey pup as a momento of your evening together on the dance floor. Don't remember her name, though.
Second, I'm not a drinker either. My girl can count on 1 hand the number of drinks she's had in the last 6 months. (She likes her occassional glass of wine... if it's good).
Third, you should really contact the AA about the spokespup gig! I think you'd be AWESOME!
