groveling

My girl finally came home, and she brought peace offerings with her! Look at this Orbee globe bouncing ball that I love!

And these are WONDERFUL!!! We usually don't get stuffies, but these were ON SALE, so she bought TWO of them!

Blogger is being crabby, otherwise I'd show you some videos of me playing. You'll have to come back later, I guess. Sorry - there's not even a picture of ME today!!!

Birthday!

Thank you everyone for all your birthday wishes! I had a GREAT birthday! Fig wanted to go spend it with Petra so we could all be together, but I wanted to have a peaceful and relaxing day, so we stayed home and ate fantastic treats such as this frozen pumpkin filled kong!

At first I couldn't figure out how to eat it. It was too slippery! I finally managed to figure out a way to keep it secure whilst I ate the pumpkin yumminess.

Finally Leah decided to help me out and held it for me like an ice cream cone.

Oh man. It was soooooooooooooooooo good...

Tonight we visited Petra, and you won't believe what I got over there!!! Something even better than a frozen pumpkin kong! She took the pictures, so make sure you check out her blog! But for now, here's a motion picture of me in pumpkin heaven!

Thanks again for the birthday wishes!

the big T-W-O

Well my 2nd birthday (what we think is my 2nd birthday, that is) is tomorrow and Massah isn't even going to be here! She's going to be away all week long for work. And she's been sick, so she hasn't even been giving me much attention. It's disgraceful. She can't even take any good pictures of me either.

What good is she, I aks you?! At least I get to stay with Leah, the sister formerly known as Massah-in-Law. Maybe she'll give me lots of CARROT cake for my birthday.... A little neglected doggie can hope.

unfair!

So not only does Mean Sister Fig abandon me for that Petra girl, but also she gets me in trouble!!! And it was all her fault!!! She stole a piece of paper off the table and ripped it to shreds. I simply came over to see what she was doing... and this is what Massah sees:

I was not eating it! I was just... trying to clean up after my sister! Speaking of my sister, where was she while I was getting in trouble?

You got it. Hiding behind a garbage box. That big fat snot.

If that isn't a GUILTY FACE, I don't know what is.

here it is:

As promised, the back of my shirt!

Here's a close up of the detailing:

Yeah. I look good.

Massah got it at Target, so sent your humans out there and get one. We can be twinkies! Manly twinkies, of course.

my new shirt

I got a new shirt that looks like a MAN'S shirt, not one of those pastel numbers that Massah usually gets for me!

This is the front of it:

The back is wicked awesome, but Massah didn't get a picture of it!!! I'm gonna make her get her camera back out so you all can see it!

a few of my favorite things

Here are some more pictures of my favorite spots in our house! This is the place where Massah puts all our toys, and then we pull them out one by one and strew them all around the house! Quite a fun game.

And this is where Massah and Massah-in-Law sit a lot to eat. That means that this is where Fig and I sit a lot to catch any falling scraps. (please ignore the black and white behemouth staring at you in this picture)

This is our fireplace where we sit every time someone turns on the fire. We spend hours in front of this glorious thing. We spend so much time there, in fact, that we have to make sure there's a blanket in place at all times and lots of toys and bones readily available.

And here are our windows! They're on either side of the fireplace so that we can jump up and bark at a moment's notice!

This one on the left we can peek our heads around, if Massah isn't in the room. She yells if she catches us doing that.

And the one on the right is pretty nice too. Can you see those cars out there? You wouldn't believe what people do to those things - first of all, they WALK OUT to them! And they're right in front of OUR house, so of course we yell and yell. And then they OPEN THE DOORS and make lots of banging sounds. So of course we yell and yell some more. And THEN they make the cars do some VAROOOM VAROOOOOOOMMMMM noises and it bothers us so much we have to yell even MORE at them. And once we yell long enough, they run away in the cars. Sometimes we have to yell a VERY LONG TIME before we scare them away. But we never give up.

And of course our dinner table. Right through those doors in the background is where our FOOD is kept. Yummmmmmmmmmm....

Every so often I have to stop by and check and see if any food has magically appeared since the last time I checked. You never know.

constant incarcerations

I don't think I've shown you all our new house! (Well, relatively new... we moved in November.) I'll start with our jails, where we have to stay whenever both Massah and Massah-in-Law are gone at the same time. Something about us being "unreliable" or something....

As you can see, we have our names above our respective jails. I take comfort in the fact that I'm listed FIRST, although Mean Sister Fig has a bigger jail. (Stanley - can you see your magnet on the front of my jail?) Anyway here I am, looking devastatingly handsome, lounging on Massah's bed.

And here I am again, doing "disturbingly odd curly-ques" with my tongue.

sleepy day

We tried to go to the dog park today, since it was in the mid-40's. I even put on my new shirt (you never know if Pinkie or Poppy or ChaChi Lu or Ruby or any of the other ladies might show up... even if Massah says they don't live close enough) but when we got there all we saw was MOOSH and MUD and SLUSH and MELTING SNOW and DIRT and while other pups might like that, I'm a little bit hesitant to get my little paws filthy like that. Things like that usually end in a B-A-T-H and I get enough of those already. So anyway, we came back home and are having a lazy, relaxing day.

Yes, yes you are seeing that correctly. I don't know why, but I'm sleeping between Mean Sister Fig's legs.

*shrug*
